On a trip to visit Mom and Dad in 1996, Greg and I took a trip up the Olympic Peninsula stopping to camp in the National Park on our way. Unfortunately, after getting the tent and camping space set up, the rain came in so heavily that we packed everything away and decided to spend the night in a motel in Port Town Townsend. But we did stop several times along the way to enjoy the beauty of the land. Greg was into black and white photography at the time so that's what many of the pictures were. At a later time we drove through some of the western part of the Park, but I'm not sure which pictures were the National Park and which other areas. We stayed in Forks on that trip and drove around sightseeing on our way home from Vancouver Island.
