Purple Power

Another combination of old and new.  The cross stitch garden scenes are about thirty years old.  They first were individually framed and then sewn together into a hanging...and now have joined the purple power quilt.  The mariner's star was my first attempt.  I am not the most precise person but it was fun to do!

Valentines 2020

An easy to carry project, I made one of these, in all different colors, for each grandchild and one for their mothers while I was in Ireland.  I then made wool envelopes for them 

Night Garden

Something totally differnt from my normal.  This quilt started with fans leftovers from Meaghan's quilt made over thirty years ago.  The cross-stitch was also done over thirty years ago and the black background is made from old napkins.  The flowers are a combination of old experiments that never found a home and new ones to fill the space.  A border of new fans and it was a completed project at least...

CSHP - Petaluma Adobe

A 2011 specialized tour of the adobe with the State Parks Foundation preceded the festivities of the annual sheep shearing.

It was a fun day.  I highly recommend a visit on sheep shearing day!

Christmas Snowmen

In 2017 I made snowmen for all the grand kids, my friends grand kids..and one for me.  They were so much fun I turned them into my Christmas card and also into a picture on the kids Christmas pajama tops.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Joining them in the boxes were reindeer and Christmas pillows.

Christmas Medley

A duo of christmas quilts.  These were the last two that I had someone else actually quilt.  After this I either quilted on the small machine or rented a long arm.

CSP - Jedediah Smith Redwoods

Traveling down the coast in 1980 from a visit to family in Washington, we stumbled on Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.  It was lovely, a great place to stay for a couple of days and an opportunity for some early fishing.
